Q: How long have you been affiliated with Bethlehem Food Co-Op, and in what ways?

A: Member joined September 2017 (member 454), Promotions through Lehigh Valley Printing, Roasted, personal social media. Word of mouth recommendations with member recruitment.

Q: What skill sets do you have that would enhance the leadership of the BFC?

A: Working knowledge on running businesses and managing people. Other board experience – Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, SouthSide Art District Advisory Board. Being able to promote/cross-promote BFC though different channels such as Facebook groups, networking events, and other established business relationships.

Q: The BFC culture is to be inclusive and diverse. High performing teams do better by creating a sense of belonging. Please share your thoughts on diversity and inclusion.

A: Everyone should be included, period. We are a community so matter what your background or race is and are strengthened by the culture and experience of everyone!

Q: What leadership roles have you held or do you hold in the community?

A: Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce – Board Member. SouthSide Arts District Advisory – Board Member. SouthSide Arts District Promotions Committee – Chair. Owner of small businesses in the Lehigh Valley.

Q: Please share a statement of why you’d like to serve on the board.

A: I love helping to create and promote change. We need a grocery store in Bethlehem and what better way then to have it a co-op! Supporting and thinking local has always been an agenda of mine with Roasted and BFC shares that passion.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share?

A: Thank you for considering me for a board position. I cannot wait to see how much BFC grows and becomes a reality in the very near future!
