Meet Andrea Lee DeJesus

Q: How long have you been affiliated with Bethlehem Food Co-Op, and in what ways?

A: 3 years

Q: What skill sets do you have that would enhance the leadership of the BFC?

A: I am an excellent promoter and can offer marketing ideas that help reach and relate to the public. I am also a local business owner with leadership skills that help to structure guidance and thrive in a team environment.

Q: The BFC culture is to be inclusive and diverse. High performing teams do better by creating a sense of belonging. Please share your thoughts on diversity and inclusion.

A: I believe that encompassing a team that has different backgrounds and diversity is the best way to achieve the perspective of the public. Only when we embrace all can we truly serve all.

Q: What leadership roles have you held or do you hold in the community?

A: I am a local business owner at A-List Salon. I was a recipient of the LV Business 40 under 40 award, I am currently on the Lehigh Valley Launch Box Ladies Advisory Board and was a panelist for The Chambers Multi Cultural Women in Leadership at Lehigh University.

Q: Please share a statement of why you’d like to serve on the board.

A: I think it will be a great opportunity to get involved and ‘pay it forward’ sharing my knowledge with my community and peers.
