Sunday, Jan. 29: Movie Afternoon

We’ve booked the Charles A. Brown Ice House (56 River St., Bethlehem) for Sunday, Jan. 29 from 1-3 p.m. All are welcome to come – free and open to the public.

We’ll screen the film, “In Our Hands: Seeding Change”:

“There is a growing movement of farmers and food workers who are creating vibrant farms, living soils, thriving food markets and a fairer food system for all. At the heart of all change lies a story, and “In Our Hands” is the story of a new kind of farm, a new kind of food and a new kind of society. This film has been created as an open source tool in order to debunk the myth of the industrial food system, and be a resource for farmers and activists in building a better world.”

In addition to the movie, we’ll offer popcorn, discussion of the film (for those who are interested), and some hands-on activities. Our info table will be set up to provide co-op updates, and you can pick up co-op swag and buy T-shirts. Other community organizations have been invited to attend.
