We will be learning how to use some of the “unusual” produce you might see at the grocery store. Come to learn (and show) how to create some wonderful summer dishes at the cooking demonstration at 3 pm, and then stay for dinner. Or show up at 5:30 pm with a dish to share and an appetite.

Free and open to the public.

Clusters Handcrafted Popcorn in Bethlehem, PA

Co-op Mixer at Clusters Handcrafted Popcorn

Join us at one of downtown Bethlehem's newest shops, CLUSTERS, and try samples of their tasty popcorn treats in a variety of flavors. There will also be free beer samples from Weyerbacher Brewing in Easton. 

Their gourmet popcorn is made fresh daily and is offered in a variety of mouth-watering flavors like our original CLUSTERS Caramel Corn,Peanut Butter Blast, Cookie Explosion, and White Cheddar, just to name a few. Each batch is made with the finest ingredients and with kernels that when popped are the most tender available.

The first five households to join the co-op during the event will receive a free bag of popcorn as their welcome gift.

Farm to Table Dinner with Social Still

Make your reservations now for our second Farm To Table Dinner with Social Still in Southside Bethlehem. This is a limited seating event to benefit the Bethlehem Food Co-op. Social Still's Executive Chef Chris Kurtz and Farmer Thad from Jett Produce collaborated to bring the farm to your table.

Thinking about becoming a Bethlehem Food Co-op member? The first five people to sign up for co-op membership will receive a $20 gift card from Social Still.

$60 per person.

MENU:
Amuse - watermelon, Thai basil, alder smoked salt, aged balsamic
Soup - chilled artichoke soup, Meyer lemon foam, pistachio gremolata
Pasta - truffle ricotta dumpling, mushroom dashi, spring vegetables, sesame, 90-minute egg
Entree - crispy pork cheek, tamarind, pickled peaches, celery root puree (vegetarian option - soy ginger marinated tofu)
Dessert - trio of ice creams: pistachio, cantaloupe, strawberry rhubarb rum

These soda replacements taste great, are ultra-refreshing, and 100% better for you than soda or Kool-Aid. Learn to make and taste fermented lemonade, sweet potato fly and a few others which provide health benefits and refreshment. In addition, explore the popular drink, Kombucha and try some locally made samples.

Weyerbacher Brewing in Easton, PA

Co-op Mixer at Weyerbacher Brewing

We're hitting the road and heading to Easton for a Co-op Mixer at Weyerbacher Brewing to sample their collection of beers.

New members who join during the event will receive a mixed six-pack of beer AND a 32 oz. growler fill.

For every current co-op member who brings along their membership card and orders a 12 oz or 16 oz beer, $1 will be donated to the co-op! 

A local food truck will be on-hand selling nosh to go along with your beer, and the band Jump Start which will be performing from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. 

The brewery will also offer a facility tour at 6:30 p.m. during which you can learn how they make their beer.

Learn various ways to brine and ferment excess veggies, things like dilly beans, ginger, garlic, carrots, curried cauliflower and drop dead awesome fermented salsa.
