Annual Craft Fair

The Bethlehem Food Co-op will hold its 2nd Annual Craft Fair on Saturday, April 18 from 11am–4pm at Christ Church UCC, 75 E. Market Street, Bethlehem. The event is free and open to the public.

More than 35 high-quality, local artisans will sell their wares. Items for sale will include jewelry, needlecrafts, metal work, pottery, textiles, woodwork, essential oils, and more. Local eateries will also provide natural foods and treats. The list of vendors can be found here.

A raffle will also be held as part of the event, featuring items donated by vendors and local businesses. Raffle tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5. Ticket purchases of $10 or more can be made with a credit card. Each co-op member-owner that attends, as well as member-owners that sign up that day, will receive three complimentary raffle tickets. Photos of raffle items can be found on the Co-op’s Facebook page.

The first 100 attendees will also receive a $5 coupon to Paint Some Pottery in Allentown.

Live musical entertainment will feature the following local performers:
11:15am–noon - Jason Hedrington and Sylvia Popichak
12:15–1pm - Tom and Betty Druckenmiller with guest Norm Williams
1:15–2pm - Ken Gualterri
2:15–2:45pm - Bridget Warner
3 - 4pm - Thiessen Music

Started in 2014, the Craft Fair is a fundraiser for the Co-op. Craft fair visitors will also have the opportunity to become member-owners of the Co-Op. The Bethlehem Food Co-Op is owned by the community members it serves, and will support local producers and sustainable, humane, and natural food systems. Member-owners make a one-time $300 equity payment and will receive many perks, such as an equal voice in Co-op operations, opportunities for hands-on involvement, discount days, and access to unique educational opportunities. Monthly payment plans are available to accommodate those who need to divide up the equity payment. The Co-op currently has more than 180 member-owners. The faster the Co-op gains member-owners, the sooner the store can open to serve the community.

The Bethlehem Food Co-Op is a diverse community encouraging physical, social, and economic health by providing healthful, affordable food; emphasizing local, sustainable, humane, and natural food systems; and offering unique educational opportunities to the entire community.
